Welcome to the Worldpedia Username Change Request page. If you need to change your username, please follow the instructions below.
Eligibility for Username Change[edit source]
Before submitting a request, ensure you meet the following conditions:
- Your account is at least 30 days old and has at least 50 edits.
- You are not blocked or banned from Worldpedia.
- Your requested username follows our Worldpedia:Username Policy.
Note: Username changes are granted only once per user, except in special circumstances.
How to Request a Username Change[edit source]
To request a username change, follow these steps:
- 1️⃣ Check username availability – Search for the desired username using Special:ListUsers.
- 2️⃣ Post a request – Submit your request on Worldpedia:Username Change Request/Requests using the format below:

- 3️⃣ Wait for approval – A bureaucrat will review and process your request within 7 days.
Reasons Username Change May Be Denied[edit source]
Your request may be rejected if:
- The requested username is already in use.
- The new username violates the Worldpedia:Username Policy.
- Your account has a history of disruptive behavior.

- Privacy concerns – If your username contains personally identifiable information, request a change via privacy@worldpedia.org.
- Merging accounts – If you have multiple accounts, visit Worldpedia:Account Merge for assistance.
